A two-day showcase highlighting women-led enterprises opened Saturday at the Main Atrium of Robinsons Galleria, drawing support from business groups and government representatives as part of Women’s Month activities.
EntrePinoy Expo 2026 gathered micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) from different parts of the country. Organizers said the expo aims to give local producers, many of them women, a venue to present and sell Philippine-made goods while building new market links.
Among those present at the opening were former San Juan City Mayor Guia Gomez and Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Assistant Secretary Elizabeth Lopez de Leon. They were joined by officers of Balikatan sa Kaunlaran National Foundation Inc., the non-government organization behind the project.
Advocate for promoting local enterprise
BSK chairperson Charo Yu said the expo reflects the group’s long-standing advocacy of promoting local enterprise.
“Entre-Pinoy is now in its third year. It is an NGO supporting micro-small entrepreneurs. All of our members are dedicated to really promote Philippine-made products,” she said.
Founded 48 years ago, BSK has focused on mentoring and assisting Filipino entrepreneurs under its “Philippine Made, Proudly Mine” campaign.
Working with community-based producers
The foundation said it continues to work with community-based producers to strengthen product development, marketing, and distribution.
With Women’s Month as backdrop, organizers underscored the role of “Pinay-preneurs” in job generation and community development.
For many exhibitors, the weekend fair offered not just retail opportunities but a chance to tell the stories behind their products, while advocating support for locally made goods.
