The competition heats up on Stars On The Floor Season 2 as the show officially launches its first collaboration phase, bringing celebrity performers and P-Pop dance stars together for high-stakes duo showdowns.
Following a buzzworthy premiere that introduced this season’s dynamic roster, the second week delivered fresh surprises — including the unveiling of the much-anticipated mystery dance star, who turned out to be multi-awarded actress Jasmine Curtis-Smith.
At the helm is host Alden Richards, guiding viewers through the competition as celebrity contenders team up with rising P-Pop performers. Their routines are evaluated by the Dance Authority panel led by Marian Rivera, alongside Coach Jay and Rayver Cruz.
The newly launched round, dubbed the collaboration battles, challenges each pair to merge their distinct styles into one cohesive performance. From Latin ballroom to hip-hop and jazz funk, the stage transformed into a showcase of imagination and grit.
Rivera highlighted the contestants’ tireless commitment. “Their dedication here is truly commendable,” she said. “You can see them going to rehearsals, memorizing the steps, arriving early at the studio for run-throughs and practicing again. I really have deep respect for them — even in the smallest ways. We salute everyone joining Stars on the Floor. They truly embrace the challenge of dancing.”
Fans can also catch behind-the-scenes action on the show’s digital companion series, giving an inside look at rehearsals and preparation ahead of each Sunday showdown.
