Fifteen years after a life-changing victory opened the doors of her career, Angeline Quinto paused not to count achievements — but to give thanks.
In a heartfelt social media message, the singer looked back at the day everything began, recalling how quickly time has passed since her breakthrough moment.
“15 years have passed but everything just seems like yesterday — the feelings of love and joy, including all the challenges and hurdles along the way.”
For Quinto, the journey was never just about music or recognition. At the center of her reflection was faith, which she credits as her constant companion through every peak and setback.
“My grateful heart that I offer only to you my Lord. All these years, not only in the past 15, have you carried me with love and not once abandoned me. Thank you and I will forever love you, Father.”
Beyond the stage lights, she turned her tribute to the woman who stood beside her from the very beginning — her adoptive mother, Mama Bob. The singer emphasized that her dream was never hers alone.
“We started this dream together Ma. You are the real star I will continue to always make you proud. I love you very much Mama.”
She also acknowledged the people who sustained her career long after the applause faded from her first victory — her supporters.
“Sa aking mga supporters until now, Maraming Salamat. Kayo ang dahilan kaya umabot ako dito.” (“To my supporters until now, thank you very much. You are the reason I reached this point.”)
Marking the anniversary of February 20, 2011 — the day she rose to national prominence — Quinto’s message carried no grand declarations of success. Instead, it was a portrait of humility: faith above fame, family above accolades, and gratitude above all.
Fifteen years later, Angeline Quinto’s voice remains powerful — but her story proves that the heart behind it has always been the true reason audiences continue to listen.
