Duty Free Philippines Corp. (DFPC), an attached agency of the Department of Tourism, expects its new Terminal 3 store at Ninoy Aquino International Airport to drive foot traffic and expand shopper access in one of the country’s busiest airports.
The branch, which opened Thursday between Bays 6 and 7, carries liquor, wines, chocolates, and cigarettes, along with travel-exclusive bundles and gift promotions not typically found in domestic stores.
“Duty Free Philippines has always been part of the Filipino homecoming story,” DFPC leadership said. “With this new Terminal 3 store, we are ensuring that the joy of choosing pasalubong — even at the last minute — remains part of that shared airport experience.”
NAIA Infra Corp. (NNIC) Deputy Head for Commercial Aileen Tan cited the store’s strategic value.
“We are proud and happy that DFPC is part of NNIC’s modernization journey,” Tan said, adding that the organization looks forward to “strengthening the partnership and pursuing more collaborations in the future.”
The Terminal 3 branch is part of DFPC’s wider expansion plan, including upcoming stores in the arrival areas of Terminals 1 and 3.
The opening underscores the agency’s push to modernize its retail concepts, widen access across major airports, and make Duty Free part of everyday airport moments — not just a pre-departure ritual.
