Federal Express Corporation (FedEx) transported more than 20,000 pounds of hot air balloons and drones from across Asia, Canada, Europe, Latin America and the United States for the 26th Philippine International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta (PIHABF).
The annual aviation event, themed “A Weekend of Everything that Flies,” was held from 13 to 15 February 2026, at New Clark City in Tarlac.
FedEx said it deployed specialized freight solutions to manage the oversized and irregularly shaped cargo, including precise load planning and dedicated handling procedures to ensure safe and timely delivery.
“The Hot Air Balloon Fiesta is all about imagination taking flight, and we’re proud that FedEx helped make that magic possible,” Maribeth Espinosa, managing director of FedEx Philippines, said.
She added that the company’s global network and skilled teams ensured that the shipments arrived “on time in perfect condition,” highlighting the reliability required for an international aviation showcase.
According to FedEx, the operation was supported by dedicated teams and airside infrastructure to handle high-value cargo efficiently across continents.
FedEx, part of FedEx Corp. (NYSE: FDX), provides transportation, e-commerce and business services worldwide and reported annual revenues of $90 billion.
