PDEA nabs 10 in Central Luzon drug busts

The Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Region 3 conducted separate drug bust operations in two areas in Central Luzon on Friday, February 13, 2026.

According to PDEA3, six drug suspects were arrested after government authorities swooped down on a suspected makeshift drug den following a buy-bust operation in Barangay New Kalalake in Olongapo City, Zambales.

PDEA Zambales Provincial Office identified the arrested suspects, who are known by their aliases as:

  1. Alias RADY, male, 31 years old;

  2. Alias RICK, male, 52 years old;

  3. Alias YAN-YAN, male, 36 years old;

  4. Alias NAT-NAT, male, 46 years old;

  5. Alias IAN, male, 31 years old; and

  6. Alias NILO, male, 60 years old.

The apprehended suspects yielded six transparent sachets containing roughly eight grams of suspected shabu worth P54,400.00, assorted drug paraphernalia, one cellular phone, and the buy-bust money.

The operation was conducted by operatives led by PDEA Zambales Provincial Office and Olongapo City Police Office Station 3.

Charges for violations of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, are being readied for filing in court.

In the City of Mabalacat, Pampanga, the PDEA Pampanga Provincial Office, along with the PDEA-3 Regional Special Enforcement Team (RSET), dismantled a suspected drug den and arrested four individuals at around 5:24 p.m. in Barangay Dau.

The PDEA team leader identified the main target of the operation as alias "KABOG," a 56-year-old male resident of Barangay Dau. Three other individuals were also arrested:

  1. Alias "OMAR," 50-year-old male;

  2. Alias "ELA," 31-year-old female; and

  3. Alias "INAH," 32-year-old female.

The apprehended suspects yielded six (6) plastic sachets containing eight grams of suspected shabu valued at P54,400.00, assorted drug paraphernalia, and the marked money used by the undercover agent.

Confiscated illegal drugs will undergo forensic examination and confirmation at the PDEA-3 laboratory in the City of San Fernando, Pampanga.

"KABOG" will be charged with violations of Section 5 (sale of dangerous drugs) and Section 6 (maintenance of a den, dive, or resort) under Republic Act No. 9165. Appropriate charges under the same law will be filed against the three other suspects.
