Manila is set to sail into adventure as Netflix announces that the highly anticipated second season of One Piece: Voyage to the Grand Line will be celebrated in the Philippines with exclusive fan events from 13 to 15 March in Taguig.

The live-action adaptation of the iconic manga series invites Filipino fans to join Monkey D. Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates on their perilous journey through the legendary Grand Line. Ahead of the season premiere on 10 March, attendees can experience immersive screenings and activations that bring the high-seas adventure to life.

Netflix’s global fan events span 13 cities, including Tokyo, Jakarta, Paris, Los Angeles, and now Manila. The Taguig gatherings mark a major highlight for Southeast Asian fans, offering an up-close encounter with the world of pirates, treasures, and epic quests.

Season two promises bigger challenges, fiercer adversaries, and breathtaking new islands as the Straw Hats push further into uncharted waters in their quest for the world’s greatest treasure. The series remains faithful to Eiichiro Oda’s record-breaking manga, the highest-selling in Japan with over 500 million copies sold worldwide.

Netflix’s live-action One Piece has already made waves internationally, becoming a global phenomenon in 2023 with nearly 100 million views. The adaptation broke records as the first English-language Netflix series to debut at number one in Japan, and season two looks set to continue that momentum.

Season two of One Piece: Into the Grand Line premieres on Netflix worldwide on 10 March, with production already confirmed for a third season. Co-showrunners Matt Owens and Joe Tracz lead the creative team, alongside executive producers Eiichiro Oda, Marty Adelstein, Becky Clements, and Tetsu Fujimura. The cast features Iñaki Godoy, Mackenyu, Emily Rudd, Jacob Romero, and Taz Skylar, among others, bringing the Straw Hat Pirates to life in full swashbuckling glory.
