Discovery Primea launches ‘It Started at Dinner’ for Valentine’s

Discovery Primea is marking Valentine’s season with “It Started at Dinner,” a campaign centered on meaningful encounters and shared moments over food, drinks and a relaxing city stay.

At the heart of the celebration is Flame Restaurant, where Executive Chef Luis Chikiamco crafted a special Valentine’s menu designed to mirror the rhythm of getting to know someone.

“I wanted the menu to feel interesting but still approachable,” shares Chef Luis. “There are bright, refreshing flavors alongside deeper, more robust elements, so the experience doesn’t feel one-note. Some dishes even carry a hint of mystery, allowing the meal to unfold course by course—very much like a memorable dinner where each moment reveals something new.”

Beyond dinner, the hotel is offering a Valentine’s staycation package that combines an evening at Flame with an overnight stay and breakfast for two served in-room.

Guests may also order limited-time cocktails at Flame Al Fresco from 12 to 14 February, including the Primea Kiss made with gin, vermouth and Amaretto Disaronno, and the Primea Pink Lady featuring London dry gin, lemon and grenadine.

Couples seeking relaxation may avail of specially priced massages and body scrubs at Terazi Spa, while Gilarmi Bakery is offering Valentine-themed treats such as cookies, madeleines, cupcakes and macarons for gifting or sharing.

The campaign extends online with a serialized love story posted on the hotel’s social media accounts. “It Started at Dinner” follows two strangers dining at Flame whose near encounters unfold over several episodes, culminating in a final chapter released on 12 February.

Discovery Primea is a five-star hotel located in the Makati central business district. It features 140 suites, an infinity pool overlooking the skyline and multiple dining outlets.
