The Subic Bay Freeport will host the Lab for All Caravan of First Lady Louise “Liza” Araneta-Marcos on 24 February at the Subic Bay Exhibition and Convention Center (SBECC).

Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) Chairman and Administrator Eduardo Jose L. Aliño announced the upcoming activity during a press conference on 11 February, saying the healthcare initiative will once again bring free medical services to residents in and around the Freeport.

Lab for All — which stands for Laboratoryo, Konsulta, at Gamot para sa Lahat — is a flagship program of the First Lady aimed at delivering accessible healthcare services to underserved communities through mobile caravans and medical missions.

Aliño said the caravan will provide free laboratory services such as blood chemistry tests, hematology and basic screenings, as well as medical consultations with general practitioners and specialists.

Free medicines, including essential prescription and maintenance drugs, will also be distributed. Diagnostic services such as X-rays, electrocardiograms and ultrasounds — particularly for pregnant women — will be available, along with specialized services including eye examinations with free reading glasses, dental procedures and minor surgical consultations.

The first Lab for All Caravan in Subic was held on 21 May 2024, benefiting around 1,500 patients from provinces near the Freeport.

Among the beneficiaries were 260 residents from Olongapo City, 180 from Subic town, 120 each from San Antonio and Castillejos, 150 each from San Marcelino and Dinalupihan, 100 from Hermosa and 120 from Morong.

The previous event was attended by the First Lady, Aliño, Zambales Governor Hermogenes Ebdane Jr., Pampanga Governor Dennis Pineda, Pampanga Vice Governor Lilia Pineda, Bataan Rep. Geraldine Roman, Zambales First District Rep. Jay Khonghun and other government officials.

Members of the SBMA Board of Directors, including Bases Conversion and Development Authority Director Rolen Paulino, also joined the earlier activity.
