Actor and dancer Mark Herras has broken his silence to address online bashers who spread misleading claims after a post showing him in tears went viral on social media.

In a Facebook post, Herras clarified that the emotional moment had nothing to do with his career, saying it stemmed from a deeply personal issue that some netizens unfairly turned into clickbait.

“FYI sa mga basta may ma ipost lang kung ano anong storya ang gingawa basta may ma content lang wag kayong gago!!! Yung post ko na umiiyak eh tungkol sa personal na problema!” Herras wrote.

He expressed frustration over how his vulnerability was twisted into false narratives for online engagement.

“Wag kayong tanga at mahilig gumawa ng kwento para lang sa content nyo!!!” he added.

Herras also directly addressed claims that he was allegedly crying because he had no work, firmly denying the speculation and stressing that he remains active in the entertainment industry.

“May mga trabaho akong gingawa may show ako na ginagawa under GMA Network at under BuenasPH so para sa mga gumgawa ng storya na umiiyak ako dahil wala akong trabaho wag kayong tanga!” he said.

The Kapuso star emphasized that rumors about his supposed unemployment were unfounded and misleading.

Herras ended his post with a pointed message to content creators and netizens who profit from sensationalized narratives at the expense of others’ well-being.

“Maghanap kayo ng ibang macocontent wag ako mga inutil!!!!”

Supporters rallied behind Herras in the comments, praising him for speaking up against misinformation and reminding him that showing vulnerability does not equate to weakness.
