Five individuals, including one regional most wanted person and four provincial most wanted persons, were arrested or voluntarily surrendered during separate operations conducted by the Rizal Police Provincial Office on Saturday.

In Morong, at around 1:30 p.m., a 58-year-old man voluntarily surrendered to personnel of the Morong Municipal Police Station. The accused, identified as a provincial-level most wanted person, is facing charges of qualified theft based on a warrant issued by the Morong Regional Trial Court, with no recommended bail.

Meanwhile, in the municipality of Rodriguez, two of the province’s most wanted persons were arrested by the Rodriguez Municipal Police Station.

The first suspect was apprehended at about 7:00 p.m. inside the Rodriguez Municipal Police Station. Identified only by the alias “Tapang,” the accused was arrested after an active warrant of arrest for murder was discovered while he was in the process of applying for a national police clearance.

The second suspect, identified as alias “Dens,” was arrested at around 6:20 p.m. in Barangay San Isidro, also in Rodriguez. He is facing charges for violating Republic Act No. 10883, or the New Anti-Carnapping Act of 2016, with recommended bail set at P300,000.

In Cardona, the Cardona Municipal Police Station’s tracker team conducted two separate operations that resulted in the arrest of two high-profile suspects. The suspects were identified by their aliases as “Ingkat,” 37, who is among the region’s most wanted persons, and “Rick,” who is also listed as a provincial most wanted person.

Both suspects are charged with violations of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 (Republic Act No. 9165) for the illegal sale and possession of dangerous drugs. The warrants of arrest were issued by the Binangonan Regional Trial Court Branch 69, with no bail recommended.

All accused individuals are currently detained at their respective custodial facilities for proper documentation and disposition. The warrants of arrest will be returned to the courts of origin for appropriate action.
