Basyang may reach tropical storm strength today while moving generally westward closer to Mindanao, The initial landfall will be over eastern Mindanao between Thursday evening and early morning Friday It may weaken while crossing northeastern Mindanao and Central and Western Visayas and will be over the Sulu Sea by early Saturday.
