The Southern Police District–District Special Operations Unit (SPD–DSOU), served a warrant of arrest against a most wanted person for multiple counts of theft on Saturday afternoon in Noveleta, Cavite.
At around 1:45 PM, operatives of the SPD–DSOU arrested alias “Jei-Em,” a 29-year-old female and resident of Noveleta, Cavite, at the New Cockpit Arena along Magdiwang Highway, Barangay Magdiwang.
The operation was carried out in coordination with the District Intelligence Division, Intelligence Section of the District Mobile Force Battalion, District Anti-Carnapping Unit, ANCAR SPD, and the Noveleta Municipal Police Station.
The arrest was effected by virtue of a warrant of arrest for five counts of theft in relation to Section 6 of Republic Act No. 10175, otherwise known as the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012, with a recommended bail of P660,000.
The warrant was issued by Judge Gloria Monica Sangalang Lopez of the Mandaluyong City Regional Trial Court Branch 279.
The accused was subsequently brought to the SPD–DSOU office for proper documentation and further legal proceedings.
