After years away from the spotlight, beauty queen Bella Ysmael is stepping back onto the national pageant stage—this time with renewed purpose and sharper focus.
The former first runner-up of Miss Universe Philippines 2020 has officially confirmed her return, representing Taguig City in this year’s competition. Her comeback was formally sealed during a special sashing ceremony led by local pageant leaders.
In a brief statement shared online, Ysmael described her return as “a promise to myself to finish what I started,” adding that the past six years allowed her to grow “not just as a queen, but as a woman.”
Known for her poise and strong stage presence, Ysmael was considered one of the standouts of the 2020 edition. Now, with more experience and confidence behind her, she is determined to transform her long-awaited comeback into a serious bid for the crown.
