More than P360,000 worth of suspected shabu was seized from two high-value individuals in a buy-bust operation in Binangonan, Rizal early Wednesday morning.
In coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency, the buy-bust operation was conducted in Barangay Mambog, Binangonan, which resulted in the arrest of alias Tanda, 59, and alias Make, 32, construction worker; both residents of this barangay.
The suspects did not resisted when five heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu, weighing approximately 53.49 grams and valued at P363,732 were confiscated from them.
The two accused are now facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
The arrested individuals are currently in the custody of the Binangonan Municipal Police Station for proper documentation while charges against them are being prepared.
