Inihain ng National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) ang mga arrest warrant para sa dating Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) engineers na sina Brice Hernandez at Jaypee Mendoza nitong Lunes, 19 Ener0 2026. Dadalhin sila sa Quezon City Jail sa Payatas at makakasama nila roon ang dating senador na si Bong Revilla Jr.
Naaresto ang dalawa matapos suspendihin ang isang hearing ng Senate Blue Ribbon Committee. Inihatid sila ng NBI bandang 8:00 p.m. at sa simula ay dinala muna sa Pasay City.
Ang mga pag-aresto ay kaakibat ng utos ng Sandiganbayan noong 20 Enero, na iniabot sa pitong indibidwal kaugnay sa umano’y P92.8-milyong “ghost” flood control project sa Pandi, Bulacan.
Kinumpirma ni Senate President Tito Sotto III na siya ang nagbigay ng pahintulot para sa mga arrest warrant.
Parehong kaso ng malversation ang inihain rin laban kina Arjay Domasig, Emelita Juat, dating DPWH Bulacan First DEO finance section chief Juanito Mendoza, at DPWH Bulacan First District Engineering Office cashier Christina Pineda.
