Sining Filipina, the country’s pioneering nationwide all-women art competition, is returning for its third year with a broader scope and a renewed push to elevate women’s voices in the visual arts.

Organizers said the 2026 edition will carry the theme Babae Para sa Bayan: Women Leading Change from Home to Nation, continuing the competition’s mission to highlight the talent, perspectives, and artistic narratives of Filipina artists across the country.

Filipina artists are invited to submit original works for the 2026 competition until 25 January 2026. Entry forms and full competition guidelines are available at zontaclubme.com/sining-filipina.

Launched in 2024, Sining Filipina has evolved into an annual national platform dedicated to women in the visual arts. Since its inception, the competition has gained recognition for celebrating artistic diversity and amplifying women’s stories through various media, styles, and creative expressions.

The initiative is led by BDO and SM Supermalls, in collaboration with the Zonta Club of Makati and Environs. Organizers said the partnership aims to expand visibility for both emerging and established women artists while underscoring the role of art in empowering communities and driving positive social impact.

Sining Filipina’s continued collaboration with SM Supermalls also reflects the mall operator’s long-standing advocacy for women and sustained support for local creative talent, the organizers said.
