New year, same party spirit! To kick things off, Sinulog Foundation Inc. hosted a pre-event ahead of the big day on 18 January, bringing Cebu’s iconic festival right here to Manila. Everybody say, Pit Señor!
We were welcomed by ultra-colorful, costume-clad performers — something we all know and love during Sinulog. The venue, Joel and Carla Del Prado’s gorgeous Mezzanine restaurant in BGC, was transformed with banderitas and vibrant décor. And the highlight? A mouthwatering Cebuano feast curated by Mezzanine’s talented chef. There were also special performances, presentations, and updates from the Sinulog Foundation.
Altogether, these gave us a taste of Cebuano culture and a preview of what’s to come at this year’s festival. The best news? You can experience it all, too! Just visit Mezzanine in BGC from 15 to 30 January at 6 p.m. to enjoy an authentic Cebuano buffet by chef Arnel Villacarlos, along with the restaurant’s amazing ambiance.
Thank you for the invite, dear Joel! We had an amazing time. Cheers! Viva Señor Sto. Niño!
