A man was rescued after getting lost near Tarak Ridge in Barangay Alasasin, Mariveles, Bataan, on 7 January.
According to reports, the man was spotted by personnel from the Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan’s Public Safety and Security Department and was immediately reported to the Management Information System in Alasasin.
The Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office of Alasasin, Medics Mariveles, the Municipal DRRMO of Mariveles, Barangay Mt. View, and the Barangay Public Safety Office of Alasasin promptly conducted a rescue operation.
Barangay Alasasin officials later confirmed that the man was in stable condition and was safely turned over to his parents.
Authorities advised the public to take safety precautions and coordinate with their respective barangays before hiking or going to Tarak Ridge.
