During the holiday season, many establishments and resorts pulled out all the stops with festive decor and celebratory activities. However, one destination that truly rose above the rest was BE Grand Resort in Bohol, which distinguished itself through its remarkable holiday ambiance, thoughtful details and overall festive experience that left a lasting impression on its guests.
This year, the spotlight turned to three sustainably crafted Christmas trees, which was created from upcycled and recycled materials such as old linens, slippers and water bottles, beautifully reflecting the resorts commitment to eco-conscious celebrations.
Beyond the dazzling trees, guests were greeted by whimsical installations, including a life-sized gingerbread Hispanic ancestral home, creating a magical atmosphere throughout the property. The evening set the tone for a season anchored in community, creativity and cultural pride.
Taking center stage was the Bohol International Flower and Fashion Festival, a breathtaking fusion of couture and florals. Twenty-seven designers from Manila, Cebu and Bohol, including renowned names like Philip Rodriguez, Cary Santiago and Francis Libiran, unveiled stunning collections elevated by live floral artistry created in collaboration with floral experts from across Asia, Europe and the Pacific.
From modern Filipiniana to exquisite bridal couture, each creation stood as a tribute to Filipino ingenuity, deep reverence to nature and boundless imagination. The collection seamlessly blended tradition with modern artistry, captivating an audience of over 400 attendees who witnessed craftsmanship at its finest.
More than a fashion presentation, the event unfolded as a multisensory cultural spectacle, where texture, movement and design told stories of heritage and innovation. In doing so, it not only celebrated Filipino identity, but also firmly elevated Bohol’s presence on the fashion map, positioning it as a destination of creative excellence and cultural distinction.
