Immigration agents in the United States continue to aggressively pursue illegal aliens for deportation. While they face hostility from liberal groups, they are backed by conservative supporters who actively aid their efforts — including, unexpectedly, a bar in Idaho.
The Old State Saloon in Eagle City posted on X last Saturday an offer to anyone who helps Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) track down and deport an illegal immigrant, Fox News reported.
The bar is offering free beer for one month to any whistleblower who provides proof of successfully aiding in a deportation. The reward may be claimed by emailing evidence — including photos and videos — to deportations@oldstatesaloon.com, according to the report.
For those who assist in more than one deportation, the saloon said it will extend the free-beer reward beyond a month.
Meanwhile, a self-styled social media influencer is handing out bottles of liquor and sharp weapons to homeless people in various US cities, apparently to boost his follower count.
Keith Castillo’s stunt went viral after he filmed himself distributing vodka in New Orleans on Thanksgiving Day. The video drew more than 14 million views on TikTok and Instagram, the New York Post reported.
Netizens were alarmed that Castillo also gave away brand-new 18-inch machetes that he purchased online. In a post dated 20 November, he claimed he was doing this to help homeless individuals keep themselves safe.
One Instagram user disagreed, saying Castillo was making them dangerous, according to the NYP report.
The Corpus Christi, Texas native has distributed alcohol and machetes in Little Rock, Austin, and New Orleans, with Los Angeles and New York as his next stops.
The 29-year-old appears emboldened after police allegedly assured him, he was not breaking any laws, the NYP added.
