Triconti Windkraft Group, a Filipino-Swiss joint venture, has tapped Singapore-based Levanta Renewables, the Actis-backed pan–Southeast Asia renewable energy platform, to jointly develop the Atimonan Onshore Wind Project in Quezon province.
The company said over the weekend that the project, awarded under the Green Energy Auction 4—which reported a 96 percent success rate—is targeted to begin commercial operations in 2028 and is expected to add new clean power capacity to the Luzon grid.
Triconti, which also has a project in Bohol, said the Atimonan, Quezon and Anda, Bohol developments are expected to deliver a combined 120 to 150 megawatts (MW) of renewable capacity between 2027 and 2028, enough to power an estimated 153,000 to 192,000 households annually.
Triconti Windkraft Group President and CEO Lila M. Rosenberger said the company is now moving to deliver the next phase of its commitment by turning the project from plans into actual power generation, noting that partnering with Levanta strengthens its ability to execute efficiently and ensure the wind farm benefits local communities while supporting the country’s push for energy independence.
Pramod Singh, CEO of Levanta Renewables, said the partnership “brings together their deep local knowledge and Levanta’s proven development track record across Southeast Asia.”
“The Atimonan Wind Project reflects our shared confidence in the Philippines’ renewable energy sector and its ability to attract long-term foreign investment.
Together, we aim to advance a high-quality project that supports Luzon’s growing demand and contributes to a stronger, more resilient national energy mix,” he added.
Triconti Windkraft Group is developing more than 4 gigawatts of onshore and offshore wind projects nationwide.
