Hotel101 Global Holdings Corp., the international hospitality arm of DoubleDragon Corp., has sealed a joint venture to build an approximately 429-room Hotel101 in San Donato Milanese, pushing the brand deeper into Europe with its first Italian project.

In a stock exchange filing on Monday, the company said the 1.4-hectare development is projected to generate about EUR85.8 million in sales revenue upon full sale, based on an expected sale price of EUR200,000 per unit. The hotel is targeted for completion in 2028.

Hotel101 said the Milan project sharpens its global expansion drive, which includes ongoing developments in Niseko, Japan; Madrid, Spain; and Los Angeles, USA, as well as its affiliate hotels in the Philippines.

Located roughly 8.4 kilometers from the Duomo di Milano, the site sits along the Autostrada del Sole (A1), giving it direct connectivity to major Italian cities.

It is near ENI’s headquarters and within reach of established hotel competitors such as the 436-room Crowne Plaza Milan Linate, Novotel Milano Linate Airport, and Best Western Hotel.

Hotel101-Milan is also positioned for high accessibility, around 7.1 kilometers from Linate Airport and five minutes from Metro Milano San Donato, which links directly to the city center via the M3 subway line.

The hotel will offer “4-star amenities at affordable prices,” including modern rooms, a 24/7 reception, all-day dining, a 25-meter lap pool, gym, business center, function rooms, children’s facilities, parking, and luggage storage.

Energy-efficient features such as solar panels are also part of the plan.

The company said the development remains subject to national, regional, and municipal regulatory approvals.

Hotel101 is also developing projects in Niseko, Japan with 482 rooms; Madrid, Spain with 680 rooms; and Los Angeles, USA with about 622 rooms, alongside its local affiliate hotels.
