There seems to be a social class trend that is seeping through the serene existence of the rich and famous as they get enamoured with young celebrities.

Of late, the Cos, the Lhuilliers, and the Lorenzos, without trying to, were thrusted into the public eyes, somehow shaking their private existence with tremors of the slightest kind.

From quietly basking in their insanely rich glory, the trio con brio of Vincent Co, Matthew Lhuillier, and Lucas Lorenzo unwittingly found themselves embroiled in muted conversations as rumours of their romantic dalliances became fodder to unrelenting showbiz cheese, making the limelight exceedingly honoured by sheer mention of their illustrious names.

When Bea Alonzo broke up with Dominic Roque and announced cancellation of their pending marriage, many thought that Alonzo had run out of eligible bachelors to choose from.

But lo and behold, naysayers ate what they thought about Alonzo's chances of being taken again as love quietly crawled into the actress' heart like a thief would.

What started as a blind item became an all-revealing phase where the guy Alonzo was having a romance with was suddenly plucked from anonymity.

The guy's name truly rang a bell, certainly because of his so powerful surname—Co—Vincent Co, the only son of Puregold owners Susan and Lucio Co.

What followed after were sightings of Alonzo and Co in a plethora of activities—business, social, and personal.

They were seen inside an airport, enjoying bon a petit moments with Co's family, partying with closest friends, gracing business shindigs, and attending concerts.

Alonzo's "what you see is what you get" seemingly sealed the love brewing from within.

The romantic riprap between Julia Barretto and Gerald Anderson was so intense that they became not only butter but cheese to everyone's bread.

For months, the couple has been tattled as "estranged" as netizens noticed they no longer post each other's photos.

Initially, when cornered, Anderson equipped there's no truth to what has been proliferatin—that they've gone on separate ways.

From Barretto's side came a deafening silence—no admission nor denial.

The streaming of breakup rumours came to a screeching halt when Anderson, with finality, admitted that his romance with Barretto has gone kaput.

Anderson's admission was a too-late-the-hero act as Barretto was already being linked to Lucas Lorenzo, son of a multi-billionaire businessman and brother to Basti Lorenzo, Claudia Barretto's husband.

Chie Filomeno's five-minute claim to fame was her war-of-the-roses episode with fellow starlet Dawn Chang.

As a member of erstwhile all-female dance group GirlTrends in It's Showtime, Filomeno traded barbs with Chang when rumours of their dance positioning ballooned to irreparable gap between them.

That happened years ago. GirlTrends have already disbanded as a group.

Filomeno became fodder to chismis again after she dropped Jake Cuenca like a hot potato. Rumour mills spiralled against her when Cuenca was reportedly inconsolable after the breakup, making her look like a heartbreaker with no soul.

From these stories of notorieties, Filomeno surfaced as a damsel in distress rescued by a knight in shining armour—Matthew Lhuillier, a filthy rich Cebuano businessman.

Filomeno and Lhuillier were recently spotted together inside Oakridge Marketplace in Cebu. The two initially met when Filomeno was commissioned to promote Lhuillier's beer brand, and from there, love apparently blossomed.

But infamy was to chase Filomeno time and again as social media was treated to a barrage of cryptic messages from her end.

The subject of her ire soon became public. It was learned that all she was alluding to in her posts was fellow actress Sofia Andres.

The feud escalated to stratospheric proportion when a blogger reached out to Filomeno and disclosed Andres' shenanigans.

It's rumoured that Andres got incensed when she learned that her elite circle of friends went to Filomeno and have unfollowed her on Instagram.

Andres is the long-time partner of Daniel Miranda, with whom she has a daughter. Miranda is said to be a relative of Matthew Lhuillier.
