The PNPA Kaisang Bisig Class of 2009, Inc. celebrated its 20th Service Anniversary and Year End gathering by choosing service over ceremony, launching an outreach program for the children and families of Everlasting Hope Childhood Cancer Mission in Guadalupe, Cebu City.

The activity aimed to bring joy, inspiration, and support to the children bravely fighting cancer. The alumni shared gifts, activities, and compassionate engagement with twenty children aged 2 to17, in collaboration with Police Regional Office 7 (PRO7).

Everlasting Hope serves as a home and safe haven for children with cancer. Aside from medical care, it also provides assistance such as shelter, transportation, and moral and spiritual support to the children and their families as they undergo treatment and recovery.

Members of the Class of 2009, now serving in various capacities across the country, shared that giving back to communities remains at the heart of their identity. What began as the commitment of cadets to service, now go beyond their badges.

Acting PNP Chief PLTGEN Jose Melencio C. Nartatez, Jr. commended the PRO7 and the KAISANGBISIG alumni, saying that the “The youth who continue to fight through their struggles remind us of the true duty of service—to provide hope and compassion to others.”

"By showing support for the children and their families, we demonstrate that protecting life is not just during times of crisis—but also in times when they need us,” he added.

As the PNPA Kaisang Bisig Class of 2009 enters its next decade, their batch emphasized on what they stand: true service that extends beyond their titles and ranks, and aims to live on in every community they encounter.
