WWRS Philippines secures ISO/IEC 27001 and HIPAA certifications

Worldwide Resource Solutions Philippines Inc. (WWRS) has secured ISO/IEC 27001:2022 and HIPAA certifications — key milestones in strengthening its operations as the KPO partner and subsidiary of Medical Solutions Group and WorldWide Health Staff Ltd., two leading U.S.-based healthcare staffing organizations.

The certifications follow the opening of WWRS’ second operations center and the launch of virtual care services in the Philippines. These accreditations ensure compliance with stringent data privacy and information security standards, particularly in handling patient medical records.

ISO/IEC 27001:2022 is the international standard for Information Security Management Systems (ISMS), while HIPAA, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996, sets legal requirements for safeguarding patient health information in the United States.

WWRS’ ISO and HIPAA certifications were granted by TUV Rheinland Philippines and QRC Assurance and Solutions Inc., respectively.
