Mga biyahero, may libreng sakay sa MRT at LRT bunsod ng #UwanPH

(July, 07 2025) An Metro Rail Transit (MRT3) and Light Rail Transit (LRT2) seen runs at the tracks in Cubao Quezon City on Monday July 7 2024. The dedicated lanes for students discounted tickets at the Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT-3) and Light Rail Transit Line 2 (LRT-2) are now accessible, they have to present their ID card or school registration form and write their names on a registry to get a 50-percent discount on single journey tickets. Nagkaroon ng libreng sakay sa mga pampasaherong tren simula ngayong araw hanggang bukas, Martes, sa gitna ng pananalasa ng Bagyong Uwan, ayon sa anunsyo ng Department of Transportation (DOTr) nitong Linggo.

Ang Light Rail Transit (LRT) Lines 1 at 2, pati na rin ang Metro Rail Transit (MRT) Line 3, ay mag-aalok ng libreng sakay sa buong araw.

Sa pakikipag-ugnayan sa Office of the President, Philippine Coast Guard, Philippine Ports Authority, at opisina ni Senador Erwin Tulfo, magkakaroon din ng libreng sakay sa mga bus sa Lunes, Nobyembre 10.

Bukod sa libreng sakay sa tren at bus, mawawalan din ng bayad ang toll, RoRo, at cargo fees para sa mga sasakyang nagdadala ng emergency at rescue equipment, pati na rin ng relief goods para sa mga apektado ng Bagyong Uwan.
