Fishing activities not allowed as Super Typhoon Uwan lashes the country
Boats are docked along the shoreline in Navotas City amid strong winds and rough seas brought by Super Typhoon Uwan on Sunday, 9 November 2025. As Uwan continues to lash Metro Manila with heavy rain and powerful gusts, the state weather bureau PAGASA issued a yellow storm surge warning for Metro Manila, with wave heights estimated to reach 1 to 2 meters within the next 48 hours. PAGASA warned of possible inundation in low-lying coastal communities due to rising sea levels and high waves.
