Smart Communications has teamed up with fintech lending platform JuanHand to offer prepaid subscribers a 25 percent discount on select mobile load products throughout November under the “Load Now, Pay Later” program, in a move aimed at expanding affordable connectivity options for Filipino consumers.
The discounted offers will be available during designated “Double Day Deals” on 6–7 November and 13–14 November, with additional discounted days on 21 November and 28 November. Eligible prepaid packages include Power All TikTok 99 and 149, Power All FB 99 and 149, and Saya All 99 and 149.
The partnership leverages Smart’s nationwide mobile network and JuanHand’s short-term digital lending service, enabling users to access mobile load on credit at reduced cost. The collaboration reflects a growing trend of telcos working with fintech platforms to broaden access to digital services, especially among budget-conscious prepaid subscribers who make up the bulk of the Philippine mobile market.
JuanHand said the initiative aligns with its goal of expanding accessible microcredit options. The lending app has more than 15 million registered users and has disbursed over P75 billion in loans since launch, positioning it as one of the country’s widely used online loan services. Users can apply for credit using only one valid ID through a five-minute application process.
