Designers’ Holiday Bazaar 2025 returns to celebrate Filipino craftsmanship and creativity

Designers’ Holiday Bazaar 2025 returns to celebrate Filipino craftsmanship and creativity
Published on

The country’s first nonprofit initiative bazaar, the Designers’ Holiday Bazaar (DHB), is making a festive comeback this year, transforming Makati’s Central Business District into a hub of Filipino artistry, culture, and holiday discovery.

Presented by GCash and Globe, the event runs from 29 November to 7 December 2025, at Greenbelt 5 and Glorietta, bringing together the best in fashion, food, home, and wellness — all curated by the visionary duo Beatriz Zobel Jr. and Sofia Zobel Elizalde.

Now in its 12th year, DHB continues to champion local creativity while raising funds for Ayala Foundation Inc. (AFI) and STEPS Foundation scholars, making it a shopping experience with heart.

“We always believed that passion can take many local talents to great heights when given the right support,” said Sofia Zobel Elizalde, co-founder and curator. “More than a marketplace, the Designers' Holiday Bazaar is a platform that makes dreams come true, potentials realized, and goals achieved. Every patron gets to be a part of this mission. It’s a collective effort that inevitably makes Christmas shopping more meaningful.”

Two venues, one purpose

The Greenbelt 5 leg will feature a vibrant mix of fashion, accessories, and wellness products, while Glorietta’s Main Activity Center and Palm Drive Activity Center will spotlight artisanal food, local delicacies, and gourmet treats.

DHB’s categories highlight the diversity of Filipino creativity — Fashion & Accessories, Holiday Décor, Local Flavors, Home & Lifestyle Finds, and Wellness & Beauty Goods.

Among featured brands are PIOPIO, Earl Gariando, R. Filart, J. Makitalo, Mallows Collection, Chrysara Nest, Heny Sison Desserterie, Sonya’s Secret Garden, Osmundo Furniture Gallery, and For Keeps Clean Beauty, among others.

“We are always on a mission to give back to the Filipino community,” said Bea Zobel Jr. “Families take home beautifully crafted products from different regions of the Philippines, while artisans gain greater visibility and scholars receive vital support. It’s quite inspiring, even for us, and it moves us to do better and aim higher every time.”

Performances and partnerships

The bazaar will also feature live performances by the Project 201 Jazz Quartet, Maki Ricafort’s Trio, Steps Dance Project, and the Tuloy Foundation Choir at Glorietta, while Greenbelt visitors can enjoy serenades by saxophonists Michael Guevarra and Mr. Pterlhen, guitarist Mr. Chai, and an upbeat DJ set by Cocoy Puyat.

This year’s bazaar partners, GCash and Globe, are also enhancing the shopping experience. GCash will launch PocketPay and SoundPay, two new digital payment solutions designed to help MSMEs streamline cashless transactions. Meanwhile, Globe Platinum will host an exclusive lounge for its customers at the Glorietta Activity Center.

As the holidays approach, the Designers’ Holiday Bazaar once again unites art, commerce, and compassion — a testament to the enduring power of Filipino creativity and generosity.
