A man was stabbed to death by his neighbor over an alleged GCash theft in Barangay Mambog, Binangonan, Rizal, on Sunday morning, 02 November 2025.
Initial investigation revealed that the suspect, identified only as Jay, was playing scatter with the victim in front of his house.
The victim, identified only as Herminilgildo, reportedly opened his GCash account to load funds but noticed that his digital wallet had no remaining balance.
The victim then confronted the suspect, leading to a heated argument and fistfight.
During the altercation, the suspect drew a knife from his waist and stabbed the victim multiple times before fleeing the scene.
The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital but was declared dead on arrival.
