Cat in the act

A diner put a two-star rating on a restaurant to express her dissatisfaction over the baked beans she ate there last week.
The unnamed restaurant shared on the social media platform Reddit the negative review and its response to the woman customer who said she liked its brisket but complained about a “big leaf” on the baked beans, New York Post (NYP) reported.
The post on the subreddit r/funny went viral with commenters siding either with the restaurant or the diner, who put a vomiting emoji on her review.
The restaurant apologized to the customer for surprising her with the dried bay leaf, which gives off a common aroma in food.
Commenters called the restaurant “condescending” and the customer “overreacting,” according to NYP. Others said the restaurant was sarcastic but “not rude.”
Meanwhile, the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals in Merced, California, USA shared on social media some home security camera stills showing the secret kitchen talent of an adopted cat.
“Wendy is a foster failure that was caught on the kitchen cam --- or kitten cam — adding ‘spice’ to her mom’s dinner,” the post read, UPI reports.
Her owner had momentarily left an open pot on the stove to feed her dogs and noticed Wendy’s suspicious behavior when she returned to the kitchen.
When she checked the camera footage, she was shocked to see Wendy dropping a dead mouse into the pot of stew.
The feline’s mom told KMPH-TV that they had takeout for dinner that night, according to UPI.
