Filipinas settle for draw vs Uzbekistan

The Philippines settled for a 2-2 draw against Uzbekistan on Wednesday in a friendly match at the Rizal Memorial Football Stadium.

Goals from Chandler McDaniel in the second minute and Meryll Serrano in the 56th minute gave the Filipinas an early 2-0 lead.

However, a brace by Diyorakhon Khabibullaeva in the 67th and 81st minutes cancelled out the efforts of the Filipinas as they finished on a stalemate. 

The match capped off a 10-day camp in Manila as the Filipinas brace for international tournaments such as the 33rd Southeast Asian Games in Thailand from 9 to 20 December and the 2026 AFC Women's Asian Cup in Australia from 1 to 21 March.
