Eduardo Tubig Mutuc of Apalit, Pampanga, is the finest metal craftsman in the country and a Gawad sa Manlilikha ng Bayan recipient. Tatay Eddie is a master of the age-old metal craft locally called “pinukpuk,” a practice by which designs are stamped on metal sheets as embellishments in religious articles like altar tables, candelabras and tabernacles.
