Tarlac Mayor Susan Yap has issued a statement regarding her alleged disqualification case from the Commission on Elections (Comelec).
In a post on her social media page, the former governor of the province said she has not received any official copy of the decision from the Comelec.
She added that if her office receives a copy, she will use all legal means to fight for the truth.
“Sa kabila ng lahat, nananatiling buo ang aking loob at dedikasyon na maglingkod nang tapat at buong puso sa bawat Tarlaqueño,” she said.
The issue, she said, is related to a former case decided by the Comelec on 14 April 2025.
The case questions her residency in Tarlac City before the elections.
