The Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) has renewed its partnership with ArenaPlus for the league’s milestone 50th season, marking the third year of collaboration between two of the country’s leading sports and entertainment brands.
The renewal was formalized during the PBA’s pre-season press conference and signing ceremony held on 1 October at Bonifacio Global City, Taguig.
Known as Asia’s first professional basketball league, the PBA continues to serve as the main stage for Filipino basketball talent, where aspiring athletes turn their professional dreams into reality. The partnership with ArenaPlus, a PAGCOR-licensed sportsbook, underscores the league’s commitment to enhancing fan engagement through innovative sports entertainment.
During the signing, PBA Commissioner Willie O. Marcial and ArenaPlus President Rafael Jasper Vicencio inked the agreement, symbolizing the continued alliance between the organizations.
“Thank you always for ArenaPlus’ support in the PBA,” Marcial said as he and Vicencio shook hands—a gesture that affirmed their strong partnership ahead of the league’s golden anniversary.
This season, the PBA will feature three conferences spread across a 16-month schedule: the Philippine Cup, Commissioner’s Cup, and Governors’ Cup. The extended calendar is intended to give way to the Gilas Pilipinas Men’s National Team as it prepares for the FIBA World Cup qualifiers and the 2026 Asian Games in Japan.
The much-anticipated “Manila Clasico” between Barangay Ginebra San Miguel and Magnolia Chicken Timplados Hotshots kicked off on October 5 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. Fans can catch the games live through the ArenaPlus app and website.
As the PBA enters its golden year, the league aims to deliver an even more exciting sports experience. ArenaPlus’ live streaming platform promises enhanced interactivity, with real-time stats and dynamic game interfaces that allow fans to follow the action anytime, anywhere.
The partnership highlights a shared commitment to innovation and accessibility, ensuring that the sport remains at the heart of Filipino culture.
With its 50th anniversary season underway, the PBA and ArenaPlus look to usher in a new era of digital entertainment for millions of basketball fans nationwide.
