Solo sensation
From his early days as a member of the globally renowned K-pop group EXO to establishing himself as a successful solo artist, Baekhyun has cemented his place as one of K-pop’s most influential stars.
Debuting in 2012 as part of EXO, Baekhyun quickly became known for his exceptional vocal ability and charismatic stage presence. With EXO, he helped lead the group to international stardom with hits like “Growl,” “Love Me Right” and “Call Me Baby.”
In 2019, Baekhyun ventured into a solo career, releasing his debut album City Lights. His follow-up releases include Bambi and the recent Reverie. Both showcased his growth as an artist and his ability to push creative boundaries while staying true to his musical roots.
He enlisted in South Korea’s mandatory military service in May 2021, taking a brief hiatus from music.
Baekhyun has also participated in various collaborations, such as on EXO-SC’s What a Life and a series of singles released through SM Entertainment’s SM Station project. He’s also teamed up with artists like rapper Loco on “Young” (2019).
As Baekhyun’s journey continues, his music remains a reflection of his evolution as an artist and Aeris can’t wait to see where his artistry takes him next.
