If you thought Boracay couldn’t get much wilder, think again. Oktoberfest has just washed up on the shores, and it’s not here for a relaxing night. It’s here for a month-long beach party. Megaworld’s Boracay Newcoast is hosting its greatest Oktoberfest ever, complete with slamming music, never-ending drinks and beach vibes that scream “no work, only twerk.”
This is not your typical Oktoberfest, with tents and pretzels. Imagine golden sunsets fading into fire shows, cool pints sweating in your hand, feet buried in soft sand, while the bass thumps strong enough to shake your spirit. It’s a full-fledged beach rave party, Boracay style.
The madness kicks off on 7 October at Cove 2 with a ceremonial keg tapping. Once that beer starts pouring, it is go time. Fire dancers light up the shore, the air smells like grilled seafood and saltwater, and the crowd moves as DJ Mace, DJ Marc Marasigan and MC Chunk’s drop beats that make you forget you ever owned shoes.
But one night isn’t enough for an island this extra. Every Saturday, the party rolls right back in with more local favorites spinning under the stars — DJ Jimmy Nocon and Soul Tribe heat things up on 11 October, Hailey Mendes and Jayson Park take over on 18 October, and Justin V. and Ercobel close out 25 October with a final, sandy blowout.
You will be clinking bottles with strangers, dancing with your toes in the surf, and swearing this is the happiest kind of hangover.
Then comes the Moonlit Mayhem on 31 October. It is Halloween, but make it tropical. Dress spooky, glam, or somewhere between beach goddess and undead mermaid — the best look of the night wins big.
Under the glowing moon and flashing lights, Ercobeats and DJ Emcy Gray take the stage while neon drinks shimmer like liquid magic.
And if your idea of fun includes perfecting your mixology skills, Liquor Alchemy has you covered every Friday at 6 p.m. at Cove Two. World-class bartenders will teach you how to shake, stir, and sip like a professional. Meanwhile, local Brew pop-ups serve crisp, homegrown beers every night, ideal for seaside chugging or patient sipping as the sky becomes pink.
On weekends, the Grill Fest cranks up the heat with sizzling barbecue and smoky seafood straight from the grill – since nothing says “Boracay bliss” like beer in one hand and grilled squid in the other. And just when you think the night is winding down, the Island Flame Show returns with fire dancers lighting up the sand on 7, 11, 18 and 31 October.
At this point, Boracay Newcoast is more than just a festival; it’s redefining beach life desires. Where the water hums beside you, your glass is always full and your cares are left on the mainland. So pack your bikini, gather your beach group and prepare for tan lines, tipsiness and pure tropical mayhem.
