Lucena City Mayor Mark Alcala was believed to have soft-launched his relationship with actress Kathryn Bernardo.

On TikTok, Alcala liked a response to the question, “Kelan ko kau makita ni idol Kath magkasama (When will I see you and Kathryn together?)”

The comment in question is “‘Pag wala nang toxic na bashers (When there are no longer toxic bashers).”

As of writing, Alcala has unliked the comment, prompting netizens to speculate more.

Interestingly, netizens noticed that Alcala, a few moments later, unlike the comment.

Bernardo and Alcala, believed to be in a clandestine romance, have reportedly dated a couple of times, the latest of which was in a reservations-only resto in San Fernando, Pampanga, Denlim's Kitchen where a photo of her and the resto owner was posted on Facebook.
