
The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced that 586 out of 931 examinees passed the Food Technologists Licensure Examination held 14 and 15 August.
The results earned a total of 62.94 percent passing rate with Nathan Gordon Tiu Orencia from University of Santo Tomas (UST) snatching the top one seat with an 88 percent grade.

Meanwhile, UP Diliman was declared as the top performing school with a 100 percent passing rate. Followed by UP Mindanao with 97.56 percent, UP Visayas-Iloilo City with 92.50 percent, UP Los Baños with 91.11 percent, and UST with 87.10 percent.
Successful examinees may schedule online appointments to obtain their FoodTech professional identification card and certificate of registration starting 24 September.
PRC is yet to announce the date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony for the new passers.
