The Office of the Vice President (OVP) warned the public Thursday about individuals using the name of Vice President Sara Duterte and the agency to solicit personal details in exchange for a P20,000 cash handout.
“Fake messages are circulating using the name of the Office of the Vice President and Vice President Sara Duterte to ask for details in exchange for P20,000 cash assistance. This is FAKE NEWS,” the OVP said in a Facebook post.

“If you receive such a message, do not respond to it or click any links,” the agency said. “Report it immediately to our official channels or to the authorities.”
