To reach the most vulnerable residents of Ilocos Sur, First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos recently brought “Lab For All” to Candon City.
“Grateful to bring our ‘Lab For All’ program to Candon City, Ilocos Sur. Felt good to offer not just free health checkups, but also a full range of government services that our ‘kailians’ could access without having to travel far,” she posted on her Instagram account.
The First Lady thanked Candon City Mayor Eric Singson and Representative Kristine Singson-Meehan “for going out of their way to make our program a success.”
Launched in May 2023, “Lab For All” is a flagship project of the First Lady that brings laboratory and medical services closer to the people and ensures accessible healthcare for everyone, no matter their background or location.
Apart from medical services, the “Lab For All” caravan offers other government services, assorted vegetable seeds and fruit tree seedlings from the Department of Agriculture, and scholarships from the Commission on Higher Education.
