Isa ang nasawi habang 10 ang sugatan sa nangyaring salpukan ng pampasaherong jeepney at truck sa Brgy. Ibabao sa Cuenca, Batangas kaninang madaling araw.
Ayon sa Batangas Police, binabaybay ng jeepney ang national highway na patungong Lipa, Batangas ngunit pagdating sa mataas na bahagi ng highway ay sumalpok sa jeep ang truck at mabilis na umandar.
Sa lakas ng pagkakabangga, nagtamo ng severe injury ang driver ng jeepney at idineklarang dead on arrival.
Kabilang sa sugatan ang 15 anyos na estudyante at siyam na iba pang sugatan na patuloy na ginagamot sa ospital.
