Cristiano Ronaldo is set to marry his long-time partner, Georgina Rodríguez, after nearly a decade together.
Rodríguez shared the news on social media with a photo of a striking diamond ring and the caption, “Yes I do. In this and in all my lives,” written in Spanish. While Ronaldo has yet to comment, the post quickly drew attention from celebrities and fans around the world.
The couple first met in 2016 at a Gucci store in Madrid, where Rodríguez was working, during Ronaldo’s time with Real Madrid. They share two children together, including their youngest daughter Bella, born in April 2022, and Rodríguez has also helped raise Ronaldo’s three other children.
Rodríguez, who stars in the Netflix reality series I Am Georgina, had previously laughed off wedding speculation, saying it wasn’t up to her. Now, the couple appears ready to take the next step.
They currently reside in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where Ronaldo plays for Al-Nassr under a contract running until 2027.
