Enchanted Kingdom brings magic, education, games and arts at Eldar’s Mega Birthday Bash

Enchanted Kingdom (EK), the country’s first and only world-class theme park, marked its 30th anniversary with a grand celebration of its most iconic character, Eldar the Wizard, during a fun-filled event on 2 August.

Held at the Spaceport Grounds, Eldar’s Mega Birthday Bash served as the culminating highlight of a month-long celebration honoring the beloved homegrown character, who has brought joy, values, and enchantment to parkgoers since EK first opened in 1995.

Throughout July, EK visitors participated in themed weekend activities, including games like finding missing birthday invitations and hats — all leading up to Eldar’s big day. Guests were also encouraged to "spread the magic" by donating toys, clothes, and non-perishable goods through The Birthday Giver, EK’s community-giving initiative.

The Faerie King and Queen officially opened the birthday bash with a royal welcome, kicking off a day packed with entertainment. Parkgoers enjoyed spectacular performances from EK’s homegrown talents, SMS and Kingsmen, along with the original stage show The Enchanted Story of Eldar the Wizard: Volume Two, which celebrated the cultural diversity of EK’s themed zones through music and dance.

Children from Casa dei Bambini Home for Children and Southville Foundation were special guests at the event. As part of the celebration, they were presented with gifts from The Birthday Giver program, making them the official beneficiaries of the initiative.

Eldar’s Theater also offered hands-on activities including coloring, slime-making, and face painting for kids of all ages.

The festivities concluded with a vibrant birthday parade and dazzling fireworks display, as Eldar the Wizard — joined by other EK characters and sponsor mascots — shared his birthday wish with guests.

“We’re proud to celebrate Eldar’s birthday as part of our 30th year milestone, and we’re grateful to everyone who continues to make the magic come alive at EK,” organizers said.

The celebration was supported by numerous sponsors including Klook, Coca-Cola, Cherifer, Krispy Kreme, RCBC, Scott’s, McCormick, and many more. Tenant partners like Shakey’s, Dairy Queen, Hap Chan, and Potato Corner also participated in the festivities.
