Robbie Herndon is staying with NLEX.
The deadshot sniper officially signed a one-year contract extension with the Road Warriors on Monday.
“I’m grateful to NLEX for their vote of confidence,” said Herndon.
“As I told Boss Ronald (Dulatre) earlier, I can’t wait to get back to work and be with the guys. I’m thankful for the trust they’ve given me.”
NLEX originally signed the 6-foot-3 Filipino American out of San Francisco State as a free agent back in July 2023.
Since then, Herndon has become a consistent presence for the Road Warriors, offering valuable shooting and veteran leadership on the wing.
In the previous season, he averaged 6.9 points on an efficient 43.7 percent shooting from three-point range, along with 2.9 rebounds per game.
Now, the 32-year-old is eager to return to Mactan, Cebu, with a renewed sense of purpose as NLEX gears up for a redemption campaign.
“Last season was painful—especially after we lost our twice-to-beat advantage in the quarterfinals,” he admitted.
“That feeling still lingers, not just for me, but for all my teammates and coaches. It’s a big motivation for us heading into the next conference.”
