The Filipinas will be defending their ASEAN Women's Championship without veteran strikers Sarina Bolden and Katrina Guillou after the roster was unveiled on Saturday.
Leading the squad in its title defense are Chandler McDaniel, Rhea Chan, Malea Cesar, Azumi Oka, Lyka Cuenco, Tea Pidding, Dionesa Tolentin, Aaliyah Schinaman, Aliana Weibel, Quinley Quezada, Isabella Alamo, Isabella Pasion, Nina Mathelus, Hali Long, Kaya Hawkinson, Adelaide Wyrzynski, Charisa Lemoran, Janae Defazio, Nina Meollo, Inna Palacios and Olivia McDaniel.
Bolden and Guillou are out due to injuries while Sara Eggesvik and Meryll Serrano won't make the trip as the ASEAN Women's Championship is not part of the international window set by the International Football Federation.
For Filipinas head coach Mark Torcaso, the ASEAN tourney will help them test the squad without its reliable veterans.
"This is a good opportunity to see where these girls at for the SEA (Southeast Asian) Games and the Asian Cup in Australia," Torcaso said.
"Yes we want to win for the country but we also want to give our girls the best opportunity."
