The People Management Association of the Philippines (PMAP), the country’s largest association of human resource professionals and people managers, held its 2025 PMAP Career Fair on 28 to 29 July at the Skydome in SM City North EDSA.

Organized in partnership with SM Supermalls, the two-day fair drew more than 1,200 job seekers and connected them with 32 reputable employers from PMAP’s network of over 1,800 member companies and 30 regional chapters across the country.

From entry-level to executive positions, applicants explored opportunities in various industries including retail, finance, information technology, and manufacturing. Several participants successfully secured roles, advancing their careers while supporting business workforce needs.

True to its mission of championing people development, the fair featured more than job placement opportunities. Attendees benefited from career talks on topics such as building a personal brand, developing both hard and soft skills, understanding labor laws, and the value of investing in technical-vocational (TechVoc) training.

The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) also joined the fair by setting up a booth to provide guidance on training needs and referring job seekers to free training programs.

“Empowering job seekers with the tools they need to become more competitive and confident in today’s evolving workforce” was a key goal, organizers emphasized.

With career guidance, training support, and job placement all available in one venue, the 2025 PMAP Career Fair served as a comprehensive launchpad for professionals at different stages of their careers—whether they were fresh graduates, mid-career professionals seeking new challenges, or individuals re-entering the job market.

Thanks to the continued support of SM Supermalls for employment initiatives and TESDA’s commitment to skills development, the fair went beyond expectations. “It was more than just a job fair—it’s a launchpad for new beginnings,” organizers said.
