Coleen Garcia-Crawford: Second pregnancy different from the first

‘I don’t get to rest unlike the first one, especially since the first one was during the pandemic, so very busy, out and about still, so yeah, just completely different from the first.’

Actress Coleen Garcia is due this month to give birth to her second baby with husband Billy Crawford, and although heavily pregnant, she still wore high-heels and a full makeup she did on her own at the recent 15th anniversary gala of events stylist Gideon Hermosa in Manila Marriott Hotel.

“Tonight, I want to follow the theme and as you know, Gideon is very particular about the color coordination so I just want to blend in whatever his beautiful creations and designs will be for tonight,” Coleen, in an exclusive interview with DAILY TRIBUNE, said of her white draped dress styled by Qurator Studio. She adorned it with a golden clutch and matching shoes she recently bought in Paris.

Even through her last stage of pregnancy, Coleen still attended events “to support and relax.”

She had been selective of the events she went to, and Gideon’s gala was among them because he is very important for the family. He styled some of Coleen and Billy’s son Amari’s photo shoots.

Coleen, Billy and their family have been shuttling to and from France and the Philippines for Billy’s international singing career.

The family already knows the second baby’s gender, but they are still keeping it as a surprise.

“It’s very different because there’s a toddler,” Coleen laughed when asked about her second pregnancy, “I don’t get to rest unlike the first one, especially since the first one was during the pandemic, so very busy, out and about still, so yeah, just completely different from the first.”

For those also planning to have another child, her advice is: “Just take it slowly, relax and don’t stress! Because for me, things became a little harder when stress came in, so it’s just always best to relax and to kind of live it day by day.”
