The Philippine U23 national men's football team finished its ASEAN Championship campaign with a 1-3 loss against Thailand in the bronze medal match at Gelora Bung Karno Stadium in Jakarta late Monday.
Goals from Phanthamit Praphanth in the 29th minute, Siraphop Wandee in the 74th minute, and Seksan Ratree in the 86th minute made sure the Thais finished with a medal on their necks.
Otu Banatao scored the lone goal of the match for the Filipinos in the 79th minute after his header went into the net.
